Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine Marie, born April 9, 1987 in Philadelphia is an American R&B and Soul performer. She was born and raised in Philadelphia Her debut album, Fearless was released in 2008. The album was a top contender for the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and was made platinum by Recording Industry Association of America. The record was followed by four hits, including "Need U Better" as well as "Bust Your Windows" Both of them placed in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart;"Bust Your Windows" was her first and the sole number one on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Sullivan released Love Me Back in 2010 as her second studio album. This was also well-received by music critics. After taking a three-year break, Sullivan signed with RCA Records and debuted her first studio album under the label, Reality Show, in 2015. It was her first album to peak at #1 on the Top R&B Albums chart. In 2021, she released her critically acclaimed EP, Heaux Tales which has the single "Pick Up Your Feelings". Sullivan is the recipient of Two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award, two Soul Train Music Awards, three NAACP Image Awards, and two BET Awards in the span of her professional career. Time declared her one of their 100 Most Influential Persons for 2022.
