Born and brought up in Spalding in Saskatchewan after which she moved in Alberta in Canada where she completed the high school. The actress began her acting journey as a teenager. For further acting training, she attended both her National Theatre School in Montreal along with at the Moscow Theatre School. She appeared on television in such programmes such as "Ready to Go" as well as "Forever Knight". In the following years, she was first seen as an actor in a film at the end of 1990s in 'Papertrail. In the following years, she was in movies like Men with Brooms and Cypher. The actress continued to be seen on film throughout the year 2000, although her roles were smaller than those in her television roles.
